Wellness Warriors Workshop
According to a study done by the American Psychological Association, teens are experiencing levels of stress that rivals that of adults. With the demands of school, jobs, sports, clubs and volunteerism increasing, more and more teens are experiencing stress and anxiety. This workshop is designed to give middle and high school students the tools to handle the pressures they face and how to practice self-care as they approach independence.
Lead by a group of passionate, inspiring and award-winning women, this workshop will cover healthy social media, proper nutrition, physical health and mindfulness practices.

A healthy lifestyle includes a healthy body and brain. In this workshop, students will be taught exercises that are both effective and fun! Michelle Crean will lead them in exercises they can do at home in their rooms or outside to keep themselves both physically and mentally strong.
Movement isn't the only important piece to fueling their bodies. Nutrition is key to teens' overall health. Michelle Cove will provide information on how students can fuel their brains. The group will enjoy preparing and making smoothies with recipes they can make at home!

Meghan Rothschild will leads a discussion on healthy use of social media and provide ways to set boundaries with the outside world.
