Awen is a Welsh word meaning “inspiration” or "flowing spirit".  It refers to the creative spark that resides within everyone.  The goal of Awen Educational Services is to help inspire students to become successful by embracing their individual learning styles and  becoming aware of and confident in their unique talents.   As academic content is covered,  students are instructed on the importance of self-awareness and how best to embrace and utilize their own strengths.  Mindfulness techniques are incorporated into instruction to enhance focus and relieve stress and anxiety.  Students are empowered to take ownership of their work and educational experience.   Awen Educational Services honors the belief that success is truly the total wellbeing of the student.

Services

Awen Educational Services offers tutoring in all subjects through eighth grade as well as History, Algebra, Geometry and English through high school. ​Educational consultation services are also offered  including mindfulness workshops for teachers, students and families.   Other services offered  include SAT preparation, organizational and study skills, test-taking strategies, and college essay brainstorming / editing.
